Introduction
An up-converting phosphor technology-based biosensor (UPT-based biosensor) is developed for fast antibody-antigen immunoassay which uses UCP particle as the biological marker.

UCP is a nano-particle crystal by doping rare-earth element into the crystal lattice. It can emit visible phosphorescence light when excited by infrared light. Using the infrared laser as the exciting light, the UPT-based biosensor can detect the content of UCP particle combined on the test strip after biologic recognition reaction. Then it could analyze the information of the target analyte in the sample.

The UPT-based biosensor features rapid reaction and detection, high sensitivity and specificity, good flexibility and reliability, and can realize quantitative detection of agent in the sample unlike other similar methods. It can meet the need of such various applications as rapid chemical and biological detection, and so on.
