An easy-to-construct digital link for teaching students about fiber optics the “hands-on” way. This kit contains transmitter, receiver, one meter of fiber, printed wiring boards, polishing film, and electronic components. Included is a 21-page booklet explaining the basics, theory of operation, assembly, and several experiments. The completed data link is suitable for high-voltage isolation, computer interfaces, etc. This is our simplest educational kit, and is ideal for beginning experimenters, classrooms and students.
